9/10 countries that have a systemic problem with the persecution of Christians are Islamic. The other country is North Korea.

Numerically, on a global scale, Christians are one of if not the most persecuted religious group. They have the highest number of deaths due to targeted violence because of their beliefs, predominantly as a consequence of Islamism.

In February 2025, 70 Christians were beheaded with machetes by Islamists in a church in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In June, up to 3000 Christians were displaced from their villages in Nigeria, and a further 200 were killed. It is estimated 7,087 Christians were killed (on average 30 per day) between January-July.

In Pakistan, Pastor Kamran was assassinated for being a public Christian figure in the community. This constitutes part of a wider societal problem, including forced displacement and modern slavery.

Crazy idea, start with the anglican churches and hospitals that were being bombed in the last few years…

And if recall the exact quote, what he said was minorities, which could mean any not just christian minorities…

How about we stop routine study and other visas from countries like Pakistan and Nigeria until they tackle this widespread violence and persecution.

And put in place a system for those who are actually Christians to come over direct as refugees rather than all the Pakistani Muslim fake asylum seekers on boats.

Won’t happen. There are protests for Palestine but British citizens don’t care about Christians being murdered abroad. Even at Christmas.

Probably blame them for being in some cases descendants of colonialism.

Plus violence against Christians is something Trump cares about so automatically considered wrong to intervene by association.
