Just to put some context into the scale of the problem, even if we clean up and process human waste to the highest specifications we are left with the monumental task of sorting out the agricultural industry, unmanaged slurry from 50 cows can equal pollution from a town of 10,000 people. Roughly 70-72% of the UK’s total land area is agricultural, with most of it being grassland.
