      After all the untrustworthy shit the US has been doing, this is what they try to push?

      Useless announcement. Again a “give your nukes back and we will protect you” ? Dont trust the US. NATO troops on the ground will be better.

      Trump must be oblivious to the reputational damage he has done to the US.
      If he told me it was raining I’d have to go look out the window to check.

      Pretty much a “thoughts and prayers” clause not worth the paper its written on. There is no way that would commit the US to even answering the phone to Ukraine never mind committing troops. The current administration would it is suspected do very little even if Article 5 of the Atlantic Charter was invoked they will do even less with this.

      It doesn’t mean anything. The US already guaranteed Ukraine protection when their gave up their nukes. Like hopper is going to mean anymore, especially from this administration. Trump cannot be trusted

      I would trust Trump’s security “guarantee” about as far as I can throw my car. Trump is a Russian asset. This whole peace process so far has been nothing but a Ukrainian screw over and favoring Putin.

      Ukraine already has those guarantees from back in 1994. If those are worth nothing, why should they sign for the new guarantees?

      So…just grant them full membership then, almost other members are onboard…US cowards don’t want to tell Putin off. How about…troops and air shield now…membership after Putin withdraws all Russian forces from the 1991 borders. TACO is yet again trying to set things up to fail.

      I don’t trust it. I don’t even trust the US to respond to a call of an actual NATO article 5. They are more likely to cause one than respond to one.

      From Donald Trump….???? The only guarantee Is assured when Ukraine join NATO.

      Don’t they already have security guarantees from the US from when they gave up their nuclear arsenal? Can trust any agreement with the states or Russia
