      Awful tragedy. I had to get my safe pass last year and the health and safety training went into great detail about just how dangerous working at heights can be. It doesn’t even have to be falling from a floor of a building. Even just taking a tumble into a ditch and landing the wrong way cripple or kill you.

      If anyone has been on a sisk site, you know how strict they are on Health and safety.

      This is a terrible tragedy, coupled with the death in Mayo last week, its been a dark week in the construction industry.

      Jayses. On a sunday and all ? Reminds me of adamstown site 2007. Man died fixing a tip truck days before xmas. Horrific.

      This happened on Friday, the details of his age are only being released now it seems.

      Why is always men dying at work?
      I mean no one should right.
      But it’s never highlighted that a huge proportion of workplace fatalities are men.
