I’m sure they’ll say at some point, in the near future, that _the UK no longer shares technology with us so why should we them?_ as a result of the US’s decision to suspend the technological agreement with us.

At least we have DragonFire and ARM.

A good example of a powerful nation trying to bully a weaker nation into compliance. One of the core reasons for the EU being created was to combat exactly these kinds of tactics. It´s one thing to bully a small nation with limited ability to fight back. Trying to bully an entire union that moves in unison and has the combined economical and legal might to fight back on an equal basis is a different beast entierly.

I wish the British the best of luck. They are going to need it.

  3. Naive Europe thought that US would betray only Ukraine, for some reason.

If only the UK was part of a larger block that had greater bargaining power.

Remember that with Brexit, the USA claimed it had a special relationship with the UK? That relationship is with Uk smaller, it can be bullied around more easily. Especially Trump loves to do many 1v1 negotiation each using his military to his advantage. It’s why Trump hates the EU and wants to break the EU up.

Thankfully Trump is also creating a common enemy for the EU to unite against. I’m loving the sheer incompetence in international relations 😀

Time to pivot back to Europe. The USA is not a reliable partner, QED…

I’m shocked we’ve refused to capitulate on some of these terms. I’m sure they’ll eventually fall, one-by-one, but its currently worthy of a wry smile at the US’s expense.

The USA, as we all know, can not be trusted, ever. They will drive a knife in your back as soon as they can. This is just one of the many examples. Get f*cked, USA.

As much as Brexit annoyed me, we should just allow the UK back in under the same terms as before (if they want that of course). We should not let Europe be divided and conquered by the likes of Russia, China and the USA. Together we are stronger.

  9. The Trump administration wanted to push bleached chickens onto the UK

That the UK does not want or need

Shake down your allies and make secret deals with the Russians. Sounds like that child rapin’ scamp Krasnov alright.

Thats just how it goes you give him something he will come back for more. He will keep coming back until you have nothing left. Same for trump, same for putin.

You must buy our iBeef and iChlorinatedChicken and be happy buying our poison.

I love that the US is burning through its soft power faster than it burns through oil. The US will soon crash hard, and the world will mock it for its arrogance.

So Kiers sucking up to Trump really paid off, so much for his special relationship and playing both sides…

“It may be dangerous to be America’s enemy, but to be America’s friend is fatal.”

Maybe UK politicians and the rest of European politicans finally realize they’re not dealing with serious politicians and will think twice before caving in again to some bully tactics, thinking they made a “deal” that the MAGA cult violates almost immediately.

UK, you need to come back. United we are strong.

The US is no longer our friend, much less your special friend.

All that ball gargling the UK did…for naught.

When you’re extorted, the gangster doesn’t go away when you pay. They just keep coming back.

lol, why even bother making any deals with the US when they’ll U-turn and break their deals weeks later? Of course they’re trying to get away with this because the UK is weak and isolated and Starmer has already demonstrated his obsequiousness.
