Fiandre condannate per la politica sui pesticidi – MO*

>In its ruling , the court states that the effects of pesticide use in and around vulnerable natural areas must be investigated, as the regulations intended to protect such areas contain too many loopholes. The judge establishes the violation but leaves it to the Flemish Government to decide how to rectify this violation.

>”The Flemish Action Plan for Sustainable Pesticide Use only provides for up to 10 meters of pesticide-free ground around vulnerable institutions such as daycare centers, preschools and primary schools, healthcare institutions, and residential care centers, starting in 2026,” says Geert Gommer van Velt. “That’s far from enough. Additional measures are necessary to reduce exposure for everyone.”

Ze vergeten wel de huidige regels rond drift reductie en fyto vrije zones langs waterlopen te vermelden. Ma soit, leg de landbouw hier nog maar straffere regels op dan halen we gewoon nóg meer uit landen zoals spanje en peru waar de regels een lachertje zijn tov de onze, ma hey, dan zijn we tenminste goe bezig toch 👍
