    1. Kill Airbnb
    2. Remove private equity and blackrock from the family housing market

  2. I have no opinion on the proposal, but I am glad to see that some issues that are important to voters are beginning to be discussed. Radicals and populists are gaining popularity precisely by offering ‘simple solutions’ to similar problems

Or stop the sustained influx of third-world immigration that increases competition and keeps housing and rent prices aritificially inflated. But that would be bad for the rich so it’s a silly idea

“boosting housing supply” is a nice solution but how does that work practically for areas which are already “filled”‘?

Don’t allow the investment funds to buy houses.

This plan says nothing. No funds assigned, no planing of the number of houses built per year and per country. Nothing, it is a bunch of words to appease the masses.

These measures are mostly about boosting development, which doesn’t solve the problem, because they don’t properly tackled short term rentals greed and people with more assets using their leverage to buy up properties to rent out.

As long as housing is used as an investment for the rich and corps, I see this doing precisely fuck all.
