      Btw, Switzerland decided to buy F-35s 5 months before Finland. Direct democracy on everything may not be a good idea.

      and maintenance of it.

      the us can and will stop it if it pushes their agenda fwds.

      Congrats Finland ! Best 5th gen fighter on the market. Currently there is no country in Europe that produces 5th gen fighters. As of late 2025, Lockheed Martin has built and delivered over 1,200 F-35 fighter jets.

      This plane is so hot that currently there is a 10 year waiting list to get a slot.

      This sub always amuses me. It will make posts about pushing for an independent Europe, and then cheer when we buy an aircraft that is dominated by Washington.

      “There are no alternatives” No shit, that’s the F-35’s best feature. It stopped other allied nations building their own 5th gen fighters, locking us firmly on the American teat for another 50 years.

      These planes would probably switched off by the Americans if the Russians were to invade: waste of money.

      I’m not against building new war machines (especially now), but I don’t think they should be celebrated like fucking Taylor Swift were on stage. After all, if it were ever used in a real war, it will kill humans, perhaps innocent humans.
