With all due respect, there’s a concept of peacetime leaders and wartime leaders. I like Ms Von Der Leyen as a peacetime leader. I am not so sure if she is the right person for what we find ourselves in

Yes, the EU is a danger to democracy. It referred to the Falkland islands as Las Malvinas in official documentation, even though 99.8% of Falkand islanders voted to remain as a British territory. It’s equivalent to writing Kiev instead of kyiv in official documentation.
The fear-mongering is getting out of hand.
The only danger to Europe, is VDL herself.
She did not believe trump the first time. Now she surprised.
Also, a country cannot be more central to EU than Belgium, and they still do not believe that EU would have their back with those russian assets.
