America approved a $11 billion dollar arms package for Taiwan yesterday including HIMARS, howitzers, and drones. For scale that’s like 15% of the entire Japanese defense budget…and Japan is a huge rich country compared to Taiwan. The US is pushing all of its resources to Asia/Pacific

Presumably the joke is that Europe thinks Putin is the good guy since they’re the one funding Russia’s war on Ukraine through oil and gas purchases, while the US subsidizes European security with billions in taxpayer funding a year?
