As a Swede this is a depressing new record of low age for a murder suspect, but we have seen this trend for some years now with gangs using teenagers and kids to do various gang related crimes involving drugs or shootings so in Sweden no one is even surprised anymore when something like this happens.
Besides sharing news, I want to know if this is “normal” now in your countries as well, if you see the same trend of young teens committing brutal gang related killings/shootings/bombings? I’m not sure if I’m living in a bubble or if this is widespread in most of Europe?

Unfortunately, gang sealed violence amongst teenagers is quite common in the UK. See it’s the same all over Europe..
I suppose this is somewhat inevitable when the govt and politicians prioritize the old over the young ..

I remember Sweden as a highly regarded country and being an example to follow back when I was growing up in Portugal.
Today, I really pray that we take a much different path.

The swedes considered us racists a couple of years ago for calling out the dangers of importing the middle-east. Well well well

Young Swedes are something else nowadays. If only social benefits were more “robust”, but alas…we are not there yet.

“No way to prevent this.” says nation where this happens more and more regularly since the UN Replacement Migration plan was put into action.

In Italy, from the 1990s to today, there has been much less violence. According to government data, the average number of homicides has dropped from about 2,800 per year in the 1990s to 327 in 2024.
In Europe, violence has been steadily decreasing; the main issue is public perception, which is strongly influenced by the mass media.
According to ISTAT (the Italian public statistical institute):
“In recent years, Europe has seen a general decline in intentional homicides, mainly explained by the reduction of the phenomenon in the Baltic countries. The EU homicide rate was 1.03 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2015 and fell to 0.91 in 2023. In France, a large European country with one of the highest homicide rates, the figure declined from 1.31 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants in the 2013-2015 period to 1.19 in 2021-2023; in our country, over the same period, the rate fell from 0.80 to 0.54 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants. By contrast, over the same time span, homicide rates in Germany and Spain did not decrease, although they remained below the European average, at 0.86 and 0.66 victims per 100,000 inhabitants respectively.”
