Ci siamo imbattuti in questo interessante edificio abbandonato a Oswiecim, è tra Auschwitz 1 e Auschwitz-Birkenau, proprio all’angolo del ponte che si attraversa per arrivare ad Auschwitz-Birkenau da Oswiecim. Ho provato a cercare informazioni su questo edificio online ma non viene fuori nulla, qualcuno ha qualche informazione sul suo background?

Show us the location on Google Maps. Nothing that I can see on the map aligns with your description and photos.
I remember noticing it too, from what I can find it’s an [abandoned ammunition factory](https://www.straznicyczasu.pl/viewtopic.php?t=24797). Not sure if it’s an original purpose of the building or not.
Obviously post WW2, so no relation to Auschwitz/Birkenau German concentration camps.
It’s an abandoned production facility of Oświęcimskie Zakłady Naprawy Samochodów (roughly translated to Oświęcim Automobile Repair Facility), built in 1951 and closed in 2001.
