Qualche anno fa ho pubblicato qui la mia mappa ispirata a Metro 2033 della metropolitana di Praga in una realtà alternativa dove il comunismo non è caduto. Non ci sto più lavorando, ma oggi stavo guardando la storia e ho pensato di caricare tutto quello che ho, inclusa la mappa delle fazioni e la loro tradizione.

**OSM Central Command**

OSM is short for “Obranný Systém Metra” (Metro Protection system). After the outbreak of the so-called great war, citizens of Prague seeked shelter in the subway system. Tensions were rising several years before, so all the necessary shelters were ready to go. The majority of the metro system was secured successfully. Appointed authority of the metro’s protective system, so called “OSM Central Command”, kept control over the whole system from 7 command centers (TC0-TC6). 

Eventually it became obvious that people would have to remain underground for far longer than anticipated. Unrest started to appear all around the Metro. The situation became especially dangerous in the “Obránců Míru” station. It is not clear what exactly happened there, but OSM was forced to remotely shut hermetic doors including ventilation systems connecting the station to the rest of the Metro. This decision inevitably doomed most of its inhabitants to a slow death (Spartan recon party managed to breach the door and enter 5 years later to find a sole malnourished and insane survivor).

Shortly after all the communications between control centers and the rest of the system broke down for unknown reasons. Sabotage was suspected. OSM Central Command could not keep things under control in this situation. Metro quickly fell into absolute anarchy and appointed personnel were forced out of the silent (but still fully equipped) TC Command Centers that were overrun by rabid inhabitants of the system. 

Eventually surviving crews of TC0, TC1, TC2, TC5 and TC6 managed to reconvene and reestablish the basic structure of their organization. TC3 refused to join the initiative, as they were already integrated into the growing Greater Smíchov Republic. TC4 was cut off from the rest of the network and nobody managed to get in contact with them since the OSM network collapsed.

The new OSMCC took control over Náměstí Míru transfer station, but were unable to extend their influence much further than that. They even lost control of Náměstí Míru on the green A line recently. They might seem like an insignificant faction in the great scheme of things nowadays, but, although they are reluctant to share their knowledge, they are still the ones who know the inner workings of Prague Metro the best. Their ultimate goal is to retake control of the control centers scattered around the system or at least retrieve anything valuable they left behind. Some believe they are hiding some facts about the System, certain “Great Secret”. Key to the entire underground perhaps? Whatever it is it would surely lie in the depths of slowly rusting control centers.
