      I am glad France is doing so well financially. The ability to project power is really important, as I believe France should really mess with its former colonies more. /s

      I wish they spend that on something slightly more productive.

      Europe doesn’t need supercarriers. They are needed for force projection away from shores, which Europe doesn’t do.

      I am not exactly sure this is a good idea currently. Carriers are good for force projection against lesser countries, but not so helpful in a land based defensive war and not against potential enemies like the US or China.
