As it’s a hostel and not a proper hotel, can’t really disagree with the residents when they say

The application represents a race to the bottom in planning standards, prioritising transient and poor-quality tourist accommodation over sustainable, mixed-use developments

Probably still be expensive to stay there even if it’s poor quality
