      Why do they think the EU would be interested in that? It would just be an example of how you can leave the EU and then cherry-pick.

      If only the PM of the country would do something to establish closer ties with the EU….

      Simply apply for full EU membership without the special rules you had before. That’s the only possibility to create those ties
