To be clear, I think these people are all wildly incompetent, but I don’t think this one is on them:
“They concluded that the evidence of the relative vaccine effectiveness of enhanced influenza vaccines compared to standard vaccines is still limited and that further studies are needed to allow more substantial conclusions on the potential benefits of enhanced influenza vaccines,” Prof Horgan wrote.”
It’s one of those things… Had they paid for the enhanced flu vaccination and it wasnt as effective as hoped she’d be raked across the coals for it too. Damned if you type situation.
What I will say though – I havent seen any widespread public information campaigns on reducing risks. Asking employers to allow WFH, sneeze etiquette etc. Surely the HSE could have thrown together a campaign?
Sure wasn’t this predicted when a person totally devoid of empathy was selected as Minister for Health.
if FG have any sense, they’ll let Harris go off and join the SocDems, and someone like Carroll MacNeill can try and bring the party back to the centre-right where its voters are.
With the way members of the public behave against retail workers this time of year does anyone think this wasn’t going to happen. I’m just home for a hospital stay where visiting has been cancelled unless end of life. The entitled behavior of people would make you sick. The abuse security staff have received over this makes the mind boggle.
No wonder we are where we are.
