“We didn’t really look at the weather too much. It was more so ‘we’re free, let’s do it’,” he said.

They should charge rescue fees for these clowns.

Thank goodness they were able to take plenty of selfies during the ordeal.

Seen many mesh trainers and tracksuit trouser combos at the top in pouring rain. Idiocy.

Judging by the impressive size of Nathan’s arms, I’m guessing he skips leg day, hence the pain.

Better get a new career Nathan, fitness influencer isn’t going great.

Ive seen retired old ladies do it in worse conditions. I went up Scafell pike in January or February & it was like maybe 2 or 3ft of snow in some places with no visibility & plenty of pensioners & young children was at the top. Often done these in extreme conditions & you see loads of people not struggling.

Boggles the mind how a “fitness influencer” & his mates couldn’t do it.

Crib Goch I’m guessing. I’ve heard stories of people attempting that in flip flops etc. People don’t realise just how difficult it is, and it’s not the height, it’s how smooth the rocks are and how narrow it is. Then you’ve got several massive pinnacle bits to climb over too.

The way some of these comments are taking you’d think the outdoors should be restricted to royal marines in full combat gear

Stupid people for putting other people’s lives at risk.

  10. British people in general are really really dumb when it comes to nature and its dangers.

I think because we live in a country of very clam weather and no predators, we never get life experience of how quickly nature can kill you.

I’ve seen people at the top of Ben Lomond with flip flops on and kids in clothes they’d wear to a soft play. I’ve been up hills in Scotland, with calm dry late summer days but during a 2-4 hours walk a small weather front has come through, wind and rain. It feels like you are being smashed by a Gail as the wind rushes over the hill. People get caught in those situations in summer clothes.
