My dad was a colleague of her son. He was working as an engineer at a Norwegian grocery store chain living a pretty ordinary life.

RIP, adieux BB.
Claudia Cardinale and Brigitte Bardot are gone in the span of a couple of months, two of the most beautiful women in the world and two of my favourite actresses, it’s quite saddening.

Despite the controversial complexity of her public image, she should be remembered for her remarkable impact on film and her longstanding commitment to animal-rights activism.

I don’t know much of her filmography, and I’m fucking 50. I knew more about her during communism than after (like, her relation with Roger Vadim (some director I know nothing about either), or how she posed as Marilyn Monroe.
I think in her case “better die a hero than live long enough to become the villain” applies.
