Immagini recentemente declassificate mostrano il sottomarino della Royal Navy britannica e l’elicottero Merlin accanto alla nave spia russa Yantar nel Mare d’Irlanda. Anche l’elicottero Merlin stava cercando un sottomarino russo. Era vicino a un tubo del gas tra Regno Unito e Irlanda.

We need to get real and invest in defence. We would never stop an invasion from Russia but we just need to pull our own weight a bit and not have to rely on our former colonial masters to defend us 100 percent of the time.
