    So what this tells us is that they all weren’t price gouging and they really are looking out for us with their single digit percentage profit margins! Oh goodie! /s

    Right, but its not price fixing do, these 4 supermarkets just happen to decide to reduce their own brand butter all at the same time and by the exact same amount by pure coincidence.

    I’m not an expert but if the biggest players in any industry all got together and said “*you know what instead of competing with each other, lets all just agree to set our price at €X.XX”* would that not be illegal in some way?
