Yeah, I saw the interviews: they want the war to end, so that the sanctions will be lifted and they will be able to free travel again in Europe without too many restrictions.
Russia can end the war at any moment. Just pull your military out of Ukrainian territory.
Doubt most Russians truly want peace—they’d have to admit defeat and return stolen land. The loud “end the war” wishes are from a vocal minority tired of losses; polls show majority still back it or stay silent out of fear/pride.
