Sorry to hear about your break up! These would have been perfect if the dates were a few days earlier as we are visiting Rovaniemi from the UK from the 3rd till 7th and my mum lives in Helsinki!

If you don’t find someone to buy from here, I can see if I’ll find the facebook group that people often inform others about train tickets.
You can just ask VR to refund the ticket it will cost like 5-6€ back in the day you could even refund an unused train ticket and get half the money back 😀

Rovaniemi is a great party town. Find another friend and go anyway.

I’m so sorry 💔 just wanted to offer my condolences, break-ups can be painful. Do what you must to grieve, and then move on. I hope you get to visit Finland some time!! When you come I recommend going to a public sauna. Then if you want to make friends, ask for help with the sauna. For what I know, Finns love when they get to explain about something they like. Go alone instead! My first solo trip ever was to Finland (Helsinki & Rovaniemi) and it was such an amazing experience. The people I met were so nice and welcoming, felt like a second home instantly!

Heartbreaks are horrible, take ur time and heal properly <3 If you feel like visiting lapland rn would make u think about her, dont go. But if u feel like it would be refreshing you should absolutely do it! Im from lapland myself, its a banger place :p Take good care of yourself brother!

Does it allow cancellation & refund at all?
With ferry tickets, Ive first rescheduled them like 3-4months forward. Then cancel for full refund. Got sick like 2-3 days before departure.
Best sleeper train ever.. (not that I tested all). But I remember it was a lot cheaper last time (and only) I bought it.
