Would have been cool if you found Lahti L-35 for your kit
Very nice!
Some kind of gloves missing? Was there a model issued?
Goes hard! 🔥
Atleast for early war more accurate kit would be just cocard and belt, aka model Cajander 😀
But cool gear!
Just a heads-up, the Armoured Division insignia is anachronistic as it wouldn’t be founded as a unit until well into the Continuation War!
Great set! For gloves I would recommend a pair of simple knitted wool gloves. In Winter War most of the warm layers were brought from home.
A grunt would not have gotten a pistol most likely, only some specialised troops got them, mostly an officer weapon. Some noncoms as well.
Awesome. Now you just need to sing:
Njet Medvedev, Njet Medvedev
Valehtelit enemmän kuin itse Lavrov.
I was shooting yesterday and it was like -25c and it sucked. I cant imagine how much worse it would have been with someone shooting back at the same time
Now go hiking for the weekend and tell us how it was.
I had the same winter gear as you back in 1988 when I was in the army. No kurkkusalaatti for us.
lack of mittens, long underwear, wooly shirts, scarfs and other to be put underneath sort of warm clothing gives a strong hint that winters gonna be cold but luckily short one.
How did they stay warm!?
I need this in my life.
The Model Cajander would have been cheaper.
Seems like you have more gear than an average squad at the beginning of the war.
Is this for movies or roleplaying?
