The “will allow” language is not an accident here. The bill doesn’t require any action from Trump, it leaves it up to him. And we all know what that means when it comes to Trump doing anything that might negatively impact Putin.

The fact that they seek trumps permission to do anything shows how gutless and worthless congress has become.

Congress doesn’t need Trump’s permission to pass a bill. It’s so tiring to see the media using language like this. And even worse – I’m so tired of it being de facto true that congress don’t do anything Trump hasn’t approved.

so in the span of a week Krasnov has:
1)captured one of the last of Putin’s allies
2)captured some Russian oil tankers in international waters
3)approved additional sanctions against them.

Putin’s master plan is working, as is his “Russian puppet” that is slowly choking his economy and whatever’s left of his global political influence.

The President doesn’t have the authority to “allow” a goddamn thing in Congress. They are a co-equal branch and can pass any legislation they want
