A picture of the knobs behind the cover you opened would help a lot in describing it to you, those things can differ a bit

  2. Bottom right where you opened the door is probably a button that ignites the gas. Check if there is a valve behind where the gas comes in and turn it on.

hi…do you have a pic of the control panel? The procedure differs from model to model.

Give us a bettet pic of the Controller please

Please remove the plastic bag from its top and anything else which may melt.

  7. Apart from the other correct messages (piezo igniter) they are known to be faulty. We had one where the piezo did not work anymore. So you needed to bring a match to the place where the ignition happens.

That title gives me serious Age of Empires II flashbacks

  9. I had one of these. IIrc on the bottom should be a button with a flame symbol, this one ignites the gas. You have to press it until you see a flame. Then you hold it for a while so the flame doesn’t go out immediately. When the flame stays on you can adjust the how much warmth you want with a button usually above. Good luck, I hated this thing.

ETA: As others have said, you should put everything currently lying on top away from the heater.
