I hope that promissed 100 000 USD / per person would be enough to cover US healthcare plans for a couple of years. With premiums of 10 000 USD per year that should be enough for good 10 years. Or 1 bad year..
Greenlanders are getting great free healthcare at the moment (funded partly from Denmark) and also treatment referrals to Denmark when needed.

Greenland used to be a member of EEC (predecessor of EU).
They joined in 1972 alongside Denmark. They widhdrew in 1985 after the referendum.
So they can re-join if they wish. I am sure EU would welcome them back. But their government stated it is not seeking to rejoin EU as a full member.
They are in the position where they can tease EU, China or US at the same time. But it may back-fire badly.
The notion that anyone would value self determination over hard cash is inconceivable to MAGA and, I suspect, the majority of Americans.
