  1. Shit, will have to sacrifice some nuclear development for some votes.

Hmm bit short sighted, most of the seats the Greens could gain are from Labour.

And on the condition Starmer goes? Even less likely as you don’t know who the new leader would be.

We need PR for the next election. FPTP will create some massive vote share vs seat imbalances with this fragmentation.

The only fair system is for each party to get a proportion of seats.

If we got PR in before the election, it would also make negotiations easier before the election, since you’re no longer waiting for what is essentially a roulette table.

If the polls are good for the Greens it makes more sense for them to try and supplant Labour as the left wing alternative.

In order to agree to a pact Labour will have to sacrifice areas they already control. I don’t see this happening.

So it could be a case of the Greens choosing between 20 MPs with a Labour government or 80 MPs with a Reform-Conservative government.

Choosing the latter makes more sense. However, maybe Labour will get desperate and be more willing to hand over territory in a pact.

Good we need to keep these Russian supporting fascists out of all and any power!!

Can we have an Anti Green/Reform pact.

When will people realise the Greens are just a left wing version of Reform.

I’d actually really like a greens lab coalition I think. I like the greens but there’s certain policies that are red lines for me. Labour would keep them measured

A green, lab, lib coalition is the only solution to reform, it should be formalised.

This is obviously the single correct strategy.

Starmer won’t do it, ofc. He’d rather coalition with the tories than the greens.

Really need changes in the labour party. The likes of starmer, streeting, mcfadden, mahmood are basically Cameron era tories.

This is exactly why we need electoral reform. A fair voting system would let people vote for the parties they actually believe in, like the Greens, without it being a wasted vote or forcing these awkward pre-election pacts. A coalition could be a great way to balance bold ideas with practical governance.

Let’s be Open to it, but let’s also be very fucking clear. They’re the Little bro in that situation. Zack will be PM not kier not Streeting. They have to kiss the ring, that’s the price.

Good, cut out the fascists from the mix, but Labor will have to share power I am guessing. That means compromise on a wealth tax.
