It’s mind-blowing how people are presented in court after doing such brutal things.

    >”[He is] an academic, an Oxford graduate, a mathematician, a linguist and a philosopher”

And is therefore permitted to break a woman’s spine with a sledgehammer your lordship

I always think when the defence says something ridiculous like “he’s gentle and caring” after he beat someone with a sledgehammer or “he’s just a cheeky chappy” when lil Hayden has stabbed someone, the judge should add an extra couple of years onto the sentence for taking the piss.

    >The court heard that before the incident in August 2024, Mr Corner, who is autistic, had never been involved in any direct action.

    >Mr Wainwright told jurors that Mr Corner was sprayed with a substance similar to pepper spray by a security guard before he struck Ms Evans, and said the defendant was in “an unfamiliar place, an unfamiliar scenario, alarms going off, with a liquid toxic smell to the air”.

    >“Imagine how Mr Corner would have been feeling,” Mr Wainwright said. “Then you add in Leona Kamio’s screams [as she was being arrested].”

They always have to slip in autism as some kind of mitigation. It’s rather insulting to those of us that somehow resist our primal urges to go around attacking police officers with deadly weapons…

This is all just hoping for mitigating circumstances and if you don’t think it’ll work, I suggest you wake up

They come from wealth and education. The law will take it easy on these people.

If they were poor and uneducated this would go a completely different way

A reminder that in the uk the biggest ism we have is classism. The focus is on every other ism because it’s effective to keep the plebs squabbling

‘The police sergeant previously told the trial she thought her spine was “shattered” when she was hit on the lower back while she was on her knees arresting a female activist.’

So she had her back to him and was on the ground at the time. What a cowardly shit.

This is like calling a XL Bully gentle and caring.

Still a dangerous dog that needs to be properly dealt with.

Same in this case. Still a terrorist so needs to face the appropriate charges and punishment.

I wonder if at some point when you’re brandishing a sledgehammer towards someone if there isn’t just part of you that goes ‘maybe I need to stop and just back away slowly’

  9. Sensitive_Echo5058 on

He’s an awful, terrible man who does not deserve our sympathies or that of the judge.

  10. South_Buy_3175 on

Maybe they are normally, but they weren’t when they assaulted someone with a sledgehammer.

Wish this whole shitshow would fuck off already, viciously attacking someone who has nothing to do with your ‘crusade’ isn’t going to win you any support.

  11. iamezekiel1_14 on

So the TLDR from this – if you’re autistic you may have potential grounds to assault a defenceless woman with a sledgehammer or am I misunderstanding?

  12. StalactiteSkin on

Presumably he took the sledgehammer with him though? Seems really gentle and caring.

    Oxford Graduate no less.

I guess Daddy’s Trust-Fund enables a mindset that desires some excitement.

In this case, brutalising a police officer

  14. Gentle and caring … and just happen to belong to an organisation co founded by and paid for by people who celebrate terrorism.

    Whose fault is that? 🤔

Scrawny “men” with poor hygiene, who would be too anxious to ask for extra ketchup in McDonalds, have been convinced they can be warriors – by putting on a keffiyeh and committing assault with a weapon. It comes as no surprise that they target women because the crossover with incel radicalisation is significant.

For the same reason, men who were unsuccessful with women joined ISIS so that they could purchase Yazidi children. (This was a feature of Jack Letts’ conversion.) Online radicalisation has got much worse since then, so we will see more of this.

I heard he would read books to children in the local library story telling hour because he was so caring and gentle. He once even helped an old lady cross the road, he had such a gentle manner she was quoted as saying. Another time he saved some kittens because he cared and was so gentle.

Would he have done the same thing to a male police officer?
