This (5 DKK / 5 Kroner) belongs to the series of coins introduced 1989..1993. The 3 sizes with holes are 5,2 and 1 DKK. The copper coloured is 0.50 DKK. There are also thicker coins for 20 and 10 DKK.
There will soon be a new series of coins, as Margrethe II resigned last year. As tradition is, the monarch has the monogram on coins, so Frederik will get his on the coins now.
Krone is the Danish word for crown. You have 5 crowns, which is five times more crown than our current king (he currently only has one crown). By Danish law, decree and doctrine, since you are more powerful than the king, you become our new royalty. Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉 👏 👏 👏. Bet that wasn’t on your 2026 bingo card.
