Sono qui da anni e non ho mai capito a cosa serva lo scudo di metallo. Per evitare che l’acqua goccioli su di esso? Qualunque cosa sia, è stupido. E anche i distributori di carta igienica nei bagni pubblici sono progettati in modo pazzesco. Grazie per l’attenzione.

It’s an edge to tear the paper against, to assist in one-handed dispensing.
Its to help cut the toilet paper. You press down on it with your other hand while pulling the paper. It looks too short though. Most I’ve seen extend a bit further and are genuinely useful.
To stop the roll from spinning freely and dumping all the toilet paper on the floor.
It’s to protect the paper from the rain, duh 😉
Keep beer on top. Only scene places force to put it to floor.
