    Would be a great outcome. It’s a joke that european sites route huge amounts of unencrypted data, which contains tons of personal data, through a US service provider.

  3. Let them fight. Italy has some insane anti piracy laws and Clloudflare is jut another horrible techbro company.

    After reading Cloudflares response few days ago i switched to Hetzner.

    In this very case Cloudfare is right, the AGCOM went a wee bit too far with its overachieving anti-piracy system by blocking things that go beyond piracy.

    Cloudfare’s reply went to far as well, bordering into arrogance and stressing the need of a European alternative, as pointed out in the article.

  6. The EU should really band together for things like this. A company bans a country, the block should ban the company.

  7. This article bringing up EU sovereignty when it’s Italy making unreasonable demands is quite the reach.
