Any sane leader will abandon such nonsensical war. But Russian leaders were always insane.
I hope they get out of there soon. Ukraine has suffered enough.
This is a continuation of World War II. Russian criminals were never punished, and in return, the US and UK surrendered half of Europe to the invaders.
Really? 11 years, Russia is fighting in Ukraine for 11 years now.
Or do people still believe the story of soldiers just being on holiday there from 2014 onwards

What is this headline even trying to say? By that standard, Germany fought in Afghanistan for 20 years “defending its values”.
One Nazi state rolled across, occupied or installed puppet regimes in all of Europe in less than a year, then rolled across, occupied and installed a military dictatorship for 3 years in all of European Russia (same size as all of the rest of Europe) in another one year. The other Nazi state rolled into a small chunk of Ukraine, got its arse kicked in the first month, lost 50% of captured land in the first half a year, and stood still in the same spot for 3.5 years losing 1.2 million men, brain draining and otherwise destroying its economy, losing everything that it had or could’ve had in international reputation and position. Nazis are losers. Some are just bigger losers than others.
