Waiting for the US to block the deal…
Considering what a mess the indian procurement system is i highly doubt this goes through. rooting for rafale though. Wish we bought those as opposed to the f35s seeing how america is behaving now.
How pedantic would it be to point out that “mega” means a million.
A big part of this deal is that Tata is going to make the fuselages in India.
Let’s just hope they are more reliable than Range Rovers!
Positive news for France and EU as a whole.
India is only democracy in the ME+SA region and a time tasted partner of France, if we can cultivation this ties and become chief weapons supplier and have economic cooperation then we will be able to take India away from clutches of Russia and on consumer side EU bands will have long Market share like Nokia, Maggie and Bata.

Fantastic news for all. Rafael operators will enjoy a larger pool of airframes for which parts are being made for, driving down their costs. French industry will be able to keep their lines humming along. And India will be able to pose more of a challenge to autocratic adversaries like China with more modern aircraft.
