    >In the 15 years since its final report was released, the tribunal has remained in office, dealing with litigation and making determinations on legal fees for third-party witnesses.

I know the legal world is slow, but still going through claims 15 years later seems crazy.

    >The department said 2026 funding for the tribunal was €1 million, a sum it cast as “an 85 per cent reduction on the allocation for 2025″

At the at rate it cant be more than a few staff manning the admin side.

  3. I’m in my late 40’s, this thing has been running since before I did the leaving cert. Jaysis !!!

Could have built a lot of council houses with that money.

Getting into Dickens territory: Jarndyce and Jarndyce

“This scarecrow of a suit has, over the course of time, become so complicated, that no man alive knows what it means…The little plaintiff or defendant, who was promised a new rocking-horse when Jarndyce and Jarndyce should be settled, has grown up, possessed himself of a real horse, and trotted away into the other world.”

Imagine the people of Tipperary are still falling over themselves to vote for Lowry. He should have been locked up along with a few others. Instead the people of Tipp have decided to vote him in by a landslide in every election since.
