The reason India is on top is that most of these tourists come through tourism agencies and get ripped off at every stage from hotel stays to dining and tourism activities. While most Europeans and other country people travel on their own which saves them a lot. My cousin was in tourism agency and most of his clients were Indians. For some reason, Indian people dont wanna explore on their own and prefer everything laid out for them and that’s expensive.

As a Turkish this makes no sense for me, so many Turkish people going to Batumi only for gambling in which they spend a lot. Turkey could have been in the Top 10 but maybe I’m wrong so
