Ciao gente, non conosco il nome tedesco di questo albero. Nel Regno Unito è comune chiamarlo a "salice piangente ". Visto sulle rive accanto al Saale (fiume) in Sassonia-Anhalt. Molte grazie in anticipo.

Tree number/Tag
A tree number is a unique identifier (usually a plaque with a number) assigned to trees for easy identification for tree registers, maintenance and monitoring, so that they can be quickly located and their condition documented, often with special aluminium or plastic plaques that are professionally attached to the trunk. It is an important tool for local authorities, forestry operations and horticulture to manage their tree population and organise tree maintenance efficiently.
It’s just the tree-number. Nothing special. It’s easier to maintain them then they are numbered.
Tree inventory number. No kidding.
It’s from the “Baumkataster” or Tree Registry. They are used to primarily track trees in parks, cemeteries and within the city. It’s used to monitor tree diversity and health, and the trees are generally inspected twice a year.
Weeping willow is the tree where the branches are bent downwards? Then the German name is “Trauerweide”
“Baumzählung” a team goes arround and tag the species and position of trees in the city, also sometimes performing healt checks on the tree, then it gets a number and all the infos are stored in a Spreadsheet so the city knows which tree is where and if it needs to be cut down in the future.
The famous “Hamelner Baumgutachten” made headlines for this because it was forgotten to terminate the “Baumzählung” Job and it was payed over and over again. Just like a subscribted service it renewed automaticly untill all “Stadtbildprägende Bäume” where counted. (8500€ where targeted but in the end it costs 135000€)
It’s the tree’s TaxID. It is used by the tree to file it’s tax return. /s
