    📢 Aggiornamento importante per i coniugi studenti in Finlandia (proposta di legge dal 2027)

    Attualmente, i coniugi studenti in Finlandia possono:

    ✅ Registrati presso l’Ufficio TE

    ✅ Partecipa ai corsi di lingua di integrazione gratuiti

    ✅ Ricevi benefici quasi immediatamente

    👉 Secondo una nuova proposta (dal 1° gennaio 2027), i coniugi studenti che arrivano dopo tale data generalmente:

    ❌ Non avere diritto alle prestazioni di integrazione

    ❌ Non avere accesso ai corsi di integrazione di TE Office a tempo pieno

    Possono essere applicate eccezioni se la persona:

    ✔️ Ha il finlandese/svedese/sami come lingua madre

    ✔️ Possiede finlandese o svedese a livello B1.1

    ✔️ Ha un permesso di soggiorno basato sulla protezione temporanea

    📌 In pratica, questo significa:

    • Potrebbe essere necessario autofinanziare gli studi linguistici

    • Il costo della vita dipenderà principalmente dal reddito dello studente

    ⚠️ Nota: questa è ancora una proposta. Se approvata, si applicherebbe solo alle persone che si trasferiranno in Finlandia dopo il 1° gennaio 2027.

      This sounds completely reasonable. It’s already generous that a bachelor’s student’s spouse can get a residence permit, to begin with.

      Cutting out financial benefits make sense since they are required to show funds for sustaining themselves and should not be planning go relocate to a country if they can not.

      But cutting out access to language courses is bone headed. State should work on helping people integrate into society and learning language is one of the best ways they can do that.
