Non sorprenderti perché l’originale Çiğ Köfte contiene carne. Hanno eliminato la carne perché è costosa e non può essere industrializzata. Avevano bisogno di qualcosa di economico per sfamare la popolazione povera. (E sì, siamo stati sistematicamente resi poveri dal sistema)
Ci hanno preso Çiğ Köfte come lo conosciamo, invece ci hanno dato spazzatura assoluta, roba disgustosa e di bassa qualità industrializzata. Adesso è ovunque e sai una cosa? LO SERVONO CON DORITOS IN ESSO E IN FORMA DI SUSHI!
Guarda come hanno massacrato mio figlio. Hanno fatto la stessa cosa con Lahmacun e Pide, ma farò un post diverso su di loro.
La cultura alimentare in Turchia è in grave crisi in questo momento poiché i prezzi degli ingredienti richiesti per questi piatti sono FUORI TETTO.

I dont think they removed the meat because of meat is expensive. It has different reasons but I’m lazy af so research it yourself.

It’s not very difficult to do, it just takes time and is tiring. If you want it with meat, make it yourself.

I am pretty sure meat is removed cause they cannot track and manage the origin of meat inside çiğköfte so they just baned selling of çiğköfte with meat you can always make yours with meat tho.

I dont think the taste differs so much. It is a good vegan option, which can be good strategy to sell it outside Turkey. It is cheap so what? When you put every sauce lemon lettuce etc, you cant taste the meat anyways

I recently started to make (knead?) çiğköfte at home and results are not bad, honestly.
Sure it takes a good amount of time, effort, and tears but in the end, it feels like worth it.
Raw meat tasted good as it is but with the new ingredients they are trying to make it taste good with so many spices but they could never eat it as its own and it has no health benefits too just grain with plants

Making çiğ köfte with meat can go south easily, considering the food safety standards in low-income areas today, we’d have a population with intestines full of parasites. I’m glad original çiğ köfte is not common, if we had regulatuions like the EU, I’d be all for it.

Ignorance is bliss. Raw meat has a high food safety risk this is why is should never be used in any food.
There are places still make it but they are not always available. One place I know sells it only Saturdays, the other sell it only Thursdays but you need to order and pay days in advance.
I think that’s a good system, It’s raw meat so you need to trust that it’s fresh.
