My understanding is that the extra drag really is negligible. Ryanair won’t install it because they know customers won’t pay for WiFi on short flights. Well not enough of them to pay for the fitout and the subscription.
It might also be in starlinks terms that they can’t charge for it.

O’Leary runs an effective company, he knows the business model and strategy that he pursues and he knows his stuff about running an airline. He is ruthless and shameless self promoter. But listening to his reasoning here I don’t think he is wrong about starlink for Ryanair. He loves annoying those in power and that it gets him attention.
Musk shares the self promoter tendencies but he is no near as effective as O’Leary. O’Leary will admit when he gets something wrong, Musk can never even think it. But Musk is such a horrible person, I mean truly despicable. He blames everyone for his failures.
