    Bit of a pointless product if you want to make tzatziki to be honest. Just follow a recipe online, it’s super simple.

    You only need 1. Greek yoghurt 2. Olive oil 3. Garlic 4. Cucumber (grated and drained) 5. Dill 6. Salt. Everything else is optional.

    The 3 main ingredients are garlic, cucumber, and Greek yoghurt.

    Then you add a little black pepper and a splash of olive oil.

    In some places in Greece, they also add a little dill or aniseed.

    Ps: No-one in Greece buys a premade mix for tzatziki.

    The ingredients are translated wrong in English btw.
    They meant to write dill, not anice.

    No need for spices just need yougurt,cucumber,vinegar,olive oil and garlic.

    Grate cubumber and dry it using paper towels, then grate some garlic. Once cucuber dried a bit mix it alongisde the garlic into the yougurt with some vinegar and olive oil. Boom you have yourself some tzatziki.

    Garlic gives the spicyness on tzatziki.

    Throw it to the garbage bin. Go buy yogurt, cucumber, garlic and olive oil if you want to eat tzatziki.

    Add extra garlic for extra pleasure

    I suppose you bought it from the airport?

    This is most likely private label so it won’t be widely availiable nor can it be found in greek supermarkets.

    Isn’t there any information of the manufacturer on the packaging?

  8. If you really like it you can just buy the individual listed spices as powders and throw them into tzatziki. They’re not hard to find. There is a mistranslation though, since ανηθος is dill, not anise. Yes the two are related but they vary enough to be distinct, especially in their usual culinary use.

    But it should be noted that this is atypical. Most tzatziki has no spices. It uses fresh garlic, fresh dill, olive oil and vinegar, rarely pepper and if yes then sparingly. Most of the flavor comes from the fresh garlic. Only salt is added really.

    To the addition, experiment with dried garlic and fresh garlic. Personally I use dried because it gives the aroma and the taste but is softer for the stomach

    As others suggested: bin this. These herb mixes sold at the airport are for tourists, nobody in Greece uses them.
