Conosco l’ironia di un uomo di Cork che pubblica questo lol, per quanto ipotetico interessante. Con una tale concentrazione di servizi statali a Dublino, quanto tempo sopravviveremmo senza di essa?

The session throughout the country would be mighty
Not much imo. Dublin doesn’t have much to offer. I feel very unsafe there too
2 Points: (1)Your flair suggests you are from Cork. Why would you want Cork to disappear?
(2) Cork
I’d live, might be a bit upset for a few seconds
Jokes aside, we’d be bunched. We’re very Capital centric in Ireland.
Ireland would be in trouble as most of the money for the country is generated in Dublin and its the biggest city with a large percentage of the population of the country. But I think the answer being looked for is “Dublin is a kip, I hate the place, would be an improvement”

Id probably celebrate tbh
An Ireland without Cork would be terrible….
The culchies would descend into civil war without their common enemy
I live in the city centre. Do I disappear with it, or do I wake up in a field/marsh? I’ve been having a pretty terrible 2026 so far, so if it’s the former, then I’d be quite chuffed personally. Country would be fucked though.

So many people would struggle. Their bank cards wouldn’t work and they have little to no cash on hand… the country would actually fail to function as a country. A lot of utilities and services are run from Dublin.

We’d save a bit of money as all the dole heads would be gone
Super devastating, because I live here. I don’t want to disappear.
Where would I get the strawbries for two euro?
Those dirty dubs are dead!!
itd actually be a blessing, Dublin is a financial parasite
Cons : All the money would be gone
Pros : It’s Dublin
