She was arguably the most batshit insane of the Tories and a huge liability for them. No matter how much you hate the Tories, Jenrick and Badenoch, you have to admit even they did not deserve to have Truss inflicted upon the party. She is less suited for the House of Commons and more suited for shouting at pigeons in the high street.

Judging from her post prior to what Jenrick said, something has happened in the background. I suspect Liz Truss tried to join Reform herself and was rejected. She’s never going to be back in the good graces of the Tory party, so it would make sense for her to jump.
