      So the solution to the kleptocracy that has caused this disaster is to … cut taxes on the rich?

      He talks of honesty, to stop keeping the “sign in the window” and yet unless I’m mistaken he tiptoes around the US, never mentioning them by name let alone Trump. He’s still dancing around truth.

      It’s a good speech, but the neoliberal delusion needs to die, and he needs to genuinely practise what he preaches and call evil by its name.

      Carney should’ve dropped the phone in the end.

      Carney is a bankster… him and his ilk are why we have a Trump problem in the first place. Politicians like him speak eloquently while systematically dicking over the average Joe. Average Joe gets angry and frustrated, monsters like Trump prey on them when the moment is ripe. And here we are…

      I found the speech on a different social network but I couldn’t put the phone down until he finished it.
      It’s so odd nowadays to hear a prominent political figure being so concise, consistent and eloquent…
      When did this stopped being the norm?

      I don’t know much about Canada’s internal politics but judging from this speech alone, they seem to be in good hands.

      EDIT: I should add that the fact that he spoke in two different languages was a nice touch as well.

      Mark Carney is a great leader. Such a pity we cannot have him here, in Italy, as a premier.
