Oggi ero al concerto dell’orchestra imperiale. Vitali Poghosyan è un dudukista armeno, un miracolo. Ha interpretato la parte di Jivan dalla colonna sonora del Gladiatore. Jivan è un coautore. Lui e Zimmer hanno creato insieme la parte duduk. Per tutto il film sono stati utilizzati 40 minuti di assolo.

The duduk was widely used in the reimagined Battlestar Galactica series. Season 3 even had music with Armenian lyrics. The composer for the show is half Armenian.
