    L’UDC vuole scuole migliori (ma anche tagli al budget per l’istruzione)


    L’UDC vuole un’istruzione migliore. Allo stesso tempo

    1. L’SVP è il partito con gli elettori meno istruiti e ha il maggior problema con i fatti/la scienza (vedi la loro posizione sul riscaldamento globale)

    2. tagli al budget per l’istruzione,

    3. vogliono ridurre la qualità delle informazioni

    La mia interpretazione preferita della proposta: vogliono rimuovere il permesso di lavoro ai genitori se non aiutano i loro figli ad imparare la lingua locale.

    Ho dei figli, vengo da Ginevra e vivo a Zurigo: non c’è assolutamente alcuna possibilità che io possa insegnare lo svizzero tedesco a qualcuno di loro. Buona fortuna con il ritiro del mio permesso di lavoro.

    Forse Parmelin dovrebbe ricordare all’UDC che in Svizzera il tedesco non è l’unica lingua parlata.

    Stranamente, non parlano del rischio dell’intelligenza artificiale e della necessità di insegnare il pensiero critico per essere in grado di distinguere tra verità e stronzate (probabilmente perché ciò ridurrebbe la loro base elettorale).

      They have the same strategy as MAGA.

      Tell stupid people what they want to hear, loot them, blame the other politcal parties while making sure that their voters stay dumb, repeat.

      Forget SVP, that’s Swiss Trump in every way. No need to think about any proposal or initiative by those right wing idiots.

      Really the whole thing is just a propaganda thing. I am all in to make foreigners, especially kids learn the language, but the way SVP set this up is all about punishing people.

      The schools are run and paid for by cantons. And yes the level of kids is falling. There are many factors to that such as overdependance on technologies, lack of parental education and kids who cannot speak the language properly.

      SVP wanting “better” education is right out of the american playbook:

      1. Claim education is bad and needs improvement
      2. Say privatization will improve education
      3. Privatize education at any chance you get
      4. Watch as education gets worse due to privatization (profit motive)
      5. Get rewarded by big donors due to their increased profits
      6. Go back to step one

      The SVP doesn’t want better schools. They want their own control of schools.
