Never see it mentioned that we don’t have conjugal visits in the UK, and I really feel we should, mainly to avoid this kind of thing. It’s also just kinda bollocks to say a male prisoner who’s doing a ten-stretch is *always* vulnerable and can’t consent. “If anyone has sex with you it’s rape even if you strongly disagree” isn’t really a justification that holds water when it’s for years of your life and you’re e.g. done for fraud.
