Viviamo vicino a un campo vuoto che è troppo coltivato, accanto c’è un campo di mucche e i cavalli pascolano nell’altro campo dall’altra parte. Capisco che fuori faceva freddo e pioveva, quindi i gatti non sono stati in giro come al solito, ma sicuramente i topi nel cortile non sono insoliti.
Gli uccelli hanno letteralmente costruito una casa sul tetto (ma a quanto pare è illegale forzare uno sfratto), quindi la fauna selvatica non è esattamente una novità.
Certo, prenderò delle trappole non letali, ma quando il tempo si schiarirà sarà un punto controverso perché i gatti vagheranno per la tenuta per causare caos poco dopo

I don’t have anything specific to add other than that font is horrendous
Never mind the mice, what kind of heathen uses that font?
If you release them they’ll just come back, get some proper traps. They aren’t an endangered species and will quickly outbreed any losses if you’re feeding them in a trap and releasing them again.
He’ll be baiting badgers next.

You should have a chat with my neighbour, he knocked on our door one night in pure disgust that there was a mouse in our garden and we didn’t kill it, so he did it for us.

Why on earth would you get mouse traps for mice who are outside in their natural habitat?
Please don’t use those traps! Mice have territories. If you remove them from their territory, they will run off, find a place to hide, and slowly starve to death. It’s a horrible death. Better to kill them cleanly if you want rid. Look on your local mouse preservation website to find trap recommendations.

All the rain will have driven them to higher/drier ground. But yeah, set traps buy 10 cats… the usual stuff.

if you look up Shawn Woods on YouTube – he does a lot of reviews of mouse traps, including his own.
One of the most effective is a plastic see-saw trap that fits over a plastic bucket.
The mouse goes after the bait and falls in.
I bought a Chinese knockoff off Amazon for 15 quid and it works great – caught several in outdoor sheds with it.
You either catch them live in the bucket, of half-fill it with water to drown them.
I would rather communicate via ogham written on stone slabs than read that font every time I get a message
