Estonia is pushing for an EU-wide entry ban on former russian soldiers who participated in the war against Ukraine, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said on Jan. 29.

“There cannot be a path from Bucha to Brussels,” Tsahkna told reporters in the Belgian capital, adding that he would raise the proposal at a meeting of EU foreign ministers later that day

  2. Have every shit accounted as serving officially in military or administration anywhere near the Ukraine be jailed after being found at the border or wherever – if there’s a case of actual conduct involving the invasion, straight to court – if not, deportation. Rest, banned from entry, lol. Have them enjoy their russian mir fully and deeply. Start inbound processing only for those openly condemning their war, administration and wanting an asylum.

Germany hopefully has learned a lesson about what importing an entire fifth column into your country can do. The EU needs to get it together and ban enemy combatants.

  4. And if they get into Europe, it’s almost certain they won’t integrate into civilian life, and will instead put those “skills” acquired in Ukraine to work in the criminal underground.

No more needs to be said really. The savage animals who have had any part in this war aught to be facing a Neremburg style court, not a VISA interview.

SAdly, I doubt anyone in Europe has the will to push through something like this.

Visa cannot be granted to a war criminal. Should the EU just give this label to all Russian invasion forces?

in 2025 EU countries gave russians 500 000 visas, 80% of them were given by France, Italy, Greece and Spain, because they like russian tourists

As a non-intelligent person I want to know how you would do this? How would you know that someone served for the russian army? Would you need to rely on the russian government to tell you who has and has not served or is there another way?

The article doesn’t mention it, so I’ll ask: how would we, the EU, know which russian travelers/immigrants have participated in the war? Would we just ask russians to open up their books? Surely they’d oblige /s.
