Stiamo aiutando i nostri amici più anziani a vendere l’auto perché hanno settant’anni e non sono assolutamente esperti di tecnologia, quindi pubblichiamo l’annuncio e trattiamo con i potenziali acquirenti finché non vogliono venire a vedere l’auto, quindi fissiamo l’incontro con il proprietario.
Giusto per contesto, l’auto ha alcuni graffi e graffi dovuti ai bambini che giocavano nel quartiere e siamo stati trasparenti al riguardo, inutile mentire, ma non è mai stata incidentata, non sono sicuro da dove l’abbia presa. Inoltre lo schermo è intatto, eravamo impegnati in una chiamata quando è stata scattata la foto, quindi abbiamo solo coperto l’ID del chiamante (ho capito, forse sembra danneggiato ma non lo è).
Comunque, il mio punto è: perché le persone sentono il bisogno di essere così marce e crudeli? Voglio dire, ha fatto di tutto per creare un profilo falso su donedeal, darci merda e bloccarci in modo che non potessimo nemmeno rispondere. Quando le persone capirebbero che nessuno le obbliga a comprare qualcosa, che se non gli piace qualcosa, possono semplicemente continuare a scorrere invece di odiare.
Potete immaginare quanto si sentirebbero di merda i proprietari se ricevessero invece questo tipo di messaggi, e sono persone dolci.
Tipo, perché? Qual è il loro guadagno in tutto ciò?

You shouldn’t have to deal with sad sacks like this. Just remember they thrive knowing that someone is more miserable than they are thanks to them pouring hate and anger into their words. So, don’t respond, leave them on read and report them to donedeal if you can. And as for sites that allow this kind of bile, well, the GIF says it all.
Ive had people get in touch to “reprice” items I was selling or getting angry if they couldn’t afford something.
My favourite one was when I put up a bunch of kitchen things as one lot for really cheap. Just wanted to get rid of them but didn’t want to through them out just asked for something like €15. This guy sent me a whole lot of messages telling me how stupid i was to put it up as one sale and how much more i could get if i sold the items separately also suggesting other sales platforms. Then proceeded to price each item and do the math for me. I asked had he any interest in purchasing anything and he said no just wanted to let me know.
Some people are just pathetic.

When I sold a car in 2013 or so I had some of this, with a guy lowballing me on thread and being unpleasant. I took out the Big Sarcasm gun, and had fun with it. Some people are just arses when they’re on the other side of a keyboard.

We tend to forget there is a segment of the population that is completely intoxicated by noon daily.
He wants the car. Uses a fake profile to waste your time so when the knight in shining armor (the real Tony) comes along and plays it friendly you feel obligated to give him a discount to get rid of the stress of selling a car. Classic technique.
I got similar messages on a car of mine recently – just pure abuse for no reason. Sad!

Not sure what his goal is as I’d never deal with him after that even if he offered the full price but people are just cunts.
Had to sell my sons car when he went Australia, the people texting and saying right I be there at 2pm. At 2.15 they text to say oh sorry will be another half hour. At 3pm you get just round the corner won’t be long. And on it goes. Wtf do you people exist. I do the, Yeah no worries I have plenty of people viewing, let’s hope it isn’t sold before you get here. Be shame to waste your time.

70 year old neighbours mad into the rep alloys, halford vents, gel plates and Mercedes style badge? No offence but the car is in absolute shit, has rust on the arches and sills covered with filler, dodgy aftermarket trim on the dash, etc. There’s mint ones with similar mileage for a grand less. If you post scrap above market value these are the texts you get.
Whenever I see stuff like this I think I could never even fathom doing something like that. And then I’m grateful that I can’t because what would have to be wrong with you..
